One of his specific research interests is hunting tourism. Dr. Campbell has also published extensively on wildlife management and tourism. He is currently working on a multi year project in wildlife tourism in Uganda and an evaluation of the effectiveness of "Bear Smart" initiatives in the recreational/ tourism landscape of Manitoba's boreal forests.
