NORTH HUNT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 17-18 NOVEMBER, 2010, ROVANIEMI, FINLAND
The conference will focus on the entrepreneurship aspect of hunting tourism and one of the conference days will be dedicated to the business development of hunting tourism. The conference will also publish and facilitate discussion of all project results: the three pillars of sustainability (ecological, social and economic) and practical development (products and networks). NorthHunt training material will also be available for all participants to test and comment.
A detailed schedule will be available in the fall. For your travel arrangements we would like to announce that the travelling dates to the conference would be November 16th and 19th since the conference is scheduled to last two full days. A joint dinner will arranged on Wednesday evening, 17.11.2010.
The conference will be held at Arktikum and preliminary reservations for participants have been made at the Scandic hotel in the center of Rovaniemi. Instructions on registering will be posted by September.
The report compiling the national results of the social sustainability evaluations and presenting the cross-country comparison of social sustainability issues, has been published. The 115-page report explores the prerequisites for developing hunting tourism from the stakeholders' point of view.
